One such recent discovery is the "blackout" fabric. Someone already heard about it  (it is used for curtains), but we will talk about the prospects of blackout specifically for photographers.

The fabric has a number of advantages when used as a backdrop. Let's see why:

- Opacity. The fabric has a special structure that does not transmit light. This is very important for studio shooting.
